Hurray for Charlie Brooker

“I hate Macs. I have always hated Macs. I hate people who use Macs. I even hate people who don’t use Macs but sometimes wish they did. Macs are glorified Fisher-Price activity centres for adults; computers for scaredy cats too nervous to learn how proper computers work; computers for people who earnestly believe in feng shui.”

I like Charlie Brooker. I’ve always liked Charlie Brooker, regardless of what I’ve said in the past. He speaks my language. He’s one of those honest speaking self-congratulating smug curmudgeons that the world probably needs more of. That is what I aspire to one day be. Screen Wipe is excellent despite small particles of hypocrisy coming off Charlie’s shoulders during some episodes. I glad it’s got another series so it has a chance to turn into total hypocritical mush by the end of it.

Something to say?
